Some young bulls are so self-confident and independent that they are ready to move to a bull group earlier, but many are not. It‘s far less traumatic for the young bulls and their mothers alike to wait with the transfer to a bull group until the boys are independent enough. And most young bulls are NOT mature enough to sire babies at age 6. That‘s actually a HUGE exeption.
