According to the zoo, there are currently more than 30 African savanna elephants in the park, which is the largest family of African savanna elephants in China.

An impressive new animal collection with all these neat little species. The Qingyuan Park should also boast Indian greater one-horned rhino (half imports from Nepal and also a male or so from Western world zoo).

It has not been a particular secret ... this big import. I think at the time it also created something of a - in my view somewhat ill-placed - media shitstorm. However, must check back what went around at the time.... yet!

It is said that it is exhibited in the "生灵秘境" exhibition area of Qingyuan Park, which is very close to the exhibition area of the yellow throated marten.

I believe Chimelong Safari also maintains black-shanked douc langurs from Vietnam. A breeding group even!

According to my friend who visited the zoo, there are at least five or six Owston's civets（There may be more...）.There are 4 black-shanked douc langurs on public display.
