Wilhelma Zoo Wilhelma zoo, Stuttgart

Yes and looking both at the nutrition requirement that are described in the article, and the still precarious situation of the specie, it seems unlikely to happen soon that it is imported to Europe. However the close cooperation is indeed interesting to hope for further quokka imports and maybe greater bilby or platypus.

Just to clarify, the press release only states that they will support Perth Zoo with donations to help them keep and release their numbats in Australia, no mention of any imports

Thank you, and apologies for my mistake. I suppose a good first step for the species would be to improve the numbers held in Australian collections, given that there are currently only two with the species.

Wilhelma species list thread by myself.
There're also a Tawny Frogmouth in the Moorish Bathhouse, the Crocodile Hall in the aquarium (Saltwater and Freshwater Crocodiles, Diamond Dove, and some more) Emus and Cape Barren Geese at the free-flight aviary, Tasmanian Grey Kangoroos at the old farm area and many parrots on the Subtropenterrassen, but I can't name all species, as some of the aviaries just being renovated (@German Zoo World should know the current collection).
Did I forgot something?

Birth of a Black Howler
And the Black-winged Mynas are on show now; they’re kept in the Asian aviary (Javan Mouse-deer, Cotton Pygmy Goose, Superb Fruit Dove…) in the small mammal and bird house.
Sadly almost all birds that lived in the African estrilid finch aviary aren’t in this aviary, only the Emerald Starlings. The others have left the collection (according to ZIMS Kenya Variable Sunbird, Purple Grenaider, Harlequin Quail; could be still in collection possibly), been put behind the scenes (Orange-breasted Waxbill, Bioko Mannikin) or moved into another aviary (Sudan Golden Sparrow in the African river aviary).
