Lakeland Wildlife Oasis. Little gem of a zoo, nice selection of species, good enclosures, friendly people.Ok which zoo /safari park in the UK that you have visited for the first time this year were you really impressed with and why ?
You should have seen it fifty years ago!Edinburgh Zoo. I really enjoyed it, and saw a lot of species for the first time; at one point it felt like that I saw a new enclosure wherever I turned. I always expected to like it, but from what I read on the forum, I had lower expectations. It exceeded them quite well.
Can I ask which exhibits you think are better than Dudley, please.I had a thoroughly enjoyable visit to Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park last month. The collection had a diverse range of species, and while I would have loved to see a few more bird taxa, the number of species overall was good, particularly the inclusion of reptiles. Most enclosures were of a high quality and were some were even better than the closest large zoo, Dudley, for its inhabitants. The admission fee is also excellent value for money, especially considering the quality of the collection. Overall, I found it to be a great little place that should be given greater commendation on forum and is a pleasant day out for zoo nerds and families alike.
But of course. I found the Pygmy Marmoset enclosures larger and more densely planted and also the ASCO enclosure at Birmingham. Can I ask which exhibits you think are better than Dudley, please.
A difficult one, more or less planting, zoos will never please everyone. Personally, I prefer Dudley zoos otter enclosure. But of course. I found the Pygmy Marmoset enclosures larger and more densely planted and also the ASCO enclosure at Birmingham.
