Today, I’m sharing the species inventory of Kashgar Zoo. I was quite surprised to see a dedicated section for this zoo on Zoochat, as it is an extremely small facility.

Are those definitely American Elk/Wapiti, or might they be one of the Asian Wapiti taxa?

When I saw them in the zoo, I also wondered if they were Rocky Mountain Elk or the rarer Tarim Elk（Cervus elaphus yarkandensis）, But my friend identified them as Rocky Mountain Elk :（
