Did not know if this was said or not but the goldi marmosets have left the rainforest building and has been replaced by cotton top tamarins the cotton top tamarin exhibit is now home to prehencile tailed skink I haven't been there since 2023 so didn't know if this was said

On August 13th, the zoo announced their female (0.1) Mulefoot pig named Rain passed away due to severe, degenerative changes in its bones/hooves.

A Giant anteater was born June 16:

Baby anteater born at Miller Park Zoo

The mom, named Chili, was mated to a male anteater named Arnaud as part of the species survival plan. There are only 90 giant anteaters in captivity.

Chili came from the Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and Arnaud came from the Nashville Zoo in Tennessee.

On July 30th, the zoo announced they sexed the anteater as male (1.0).

On August 19th, the zoo announced they moved their female (0.1) southern three-banded armadillo named Amata into the Linne's two-toed sloth exhibit.

On August 25th, the zoo announced their (1.1) Goledi's monkeys named Tocino and Chia both passed away at ages 10 and 13 due to several health conditions, respectively.

On September 5th, the zoo announced they moved their DeBrazza's monkeys off-show due to one pane of the double-paned glass in the viewing area getting shattered.

On October 2nd, the zoo announced they acquired a (1m.0) Nepalese red panda named Dorji from Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo in Connecticut, which is on exhibit. The zoo also announced they built a new climbing structure inside the red panda exhibit.
