I think that bit was from the previous series, at least the first bit of Terry and Meg meeting. They do sometimes repeat sections that have already been shown in previous series.
 
I thought they were all offspring/ siblings from the last litter from the parents so I maybe wrong 5 boys and 1 girl! So they aren’t looking them to form a new pack or anything just be ambassadors for the species of wolves!
 
Think so it was mentioned on animal park and her name is Hazel! But she is living with her siblings and must be on contraception x

Here's the heads up on Lola and Hodor the Common Hippos who moved from Whipsnade to Longleat about 2 months ago now and you'll be pleased to know that they have settled in really well in their new home as I just been to Facebook and they were let out into their paddock next to Half Mile Lake
 
I've just come out of watching the latest series and the Meg and Terry segments left me wondering what the names of all of Jango & Eliska's pups were. From what I could find they had two litters. 6 in 2018 and then another 7 in 2019. All I have so far is Meg, May, Max, Mel, Lady and Hazel. Not sure if they are all from the same litter? But yeah - wondering if anyone knows the others?

So I don't know how many are still living all I know is the following:

  • Former Alpha pair Django & Eliska have died. Eliska died in labour, litter did not survive, Django died shortly after
  • Max & Mel moved to Scottish Deer Centre
  • May & Lady moved to Cotswold Wildife Park.
  • I belive Hazel is the only female in the main pack living with her brothers.

Okay, so it seems they never shared the names of the male wolves that were born at the park?

They did say some names.
JJ, Elder, Aspen I believe are some of the names but that's just what I've got off Animal Park.

Unsure of the others names or what the main pack consists of but there does appear to be a woodland/tree theme
 
I've found out the names - just posting them here if anyone else was interested. The wolves they currently have at the park are: Elder, Robur, Hazel, Spruce, Cosmo, Meg, Cecil, JJ and Terry. So the 13 pups (litter of 6 and then 7) that Jango and Eliska had were:

Elder
Robur
Spruce
Aspen
Hazel
Cecil
Cosmo
JJ
Meg
Max
Mel
May
Lady
 
Good Evening Everyone. As you know that this year 2025 was my 20th Anniversary of Longleat but unfortunately things have not quite gone to as planned as my mother has been unwell due to health problems at the moment which means sadly I can't be at Longleat this year and I would like to apologize to my amazing friends at Longleat for not being there this year and there'll be double celebrations next year 2026 as one of them is of course the 60th Anniversary of the Safari Park and I have asked my mother if I can have May time back which is in Spring time and it is something to look forward to. Can't wait to see the hippos settling in then
 
A few questions after watching animal park

Does anyone know how many koalas are at longleat now ?

have the hippos had access to the lake yet ?
 
From my visit in July there was 6 koala I think ..
Dennis, Mazie ,Violet ,Monty ,Hazel and Yani.
Speaking to a keeper they were waiting till summer holidays were over so around now and then were going to try hippo in the lake as they don’t need to run boats as frequently now with less visitors around weekdays .. and also slowly introduce boats and sea lions but it could be a year or more.. they weren’t giving a timeframe. As once In the lake if the hippo didn’t want to come back inside they couldn’t do much about it. So wanted to try and get some recall in place and so nightly they could be kept indoors in the house, especially coming into the winter.,

No hippos were visible on Friday but we were told via the boat commentary that divers had been working on the new fencing on Thursday that allows the hippos to have access to the lake water (the old sealion access gates) without being out in the lake. The keepers will then be doing training with the hippos.
