Just in case anyone was planning a trip to whipsnade tomorrow (Monday 15th) they have just announced they will close due to the weather.

I have just noticed on the Whipsnade app that Babirusa is no longer highlighted, I know one of the males passed away in May but I'm sure they still have 1.0 left?
I noticed that yesterday ss well. I didn’t see the remaining babirusa last Friday but that’s not to say it wasn’t there. Still listed on zootierliste as well.
Where were they kept?

The remaining male was certainly still alive and well 3 weeks ago.
Cheers, just couldn’t place where they are. Didn’t see any on Saturday, but it’s a big enclosure. Am sure another visitor read their name from the sign inside when we saw the monkeys in the inside enclosure so that hasn’t been removed, which could mean they still have one?
The Whipsnade app has been updated to include a lot more animals. Spotted Deer, Gaur, Nilgai and Wattled Crane are just some of the ones added.
Do you know what 'Spotted deer' refers to in this case or did you mean 'Tufted'?

I would love to see Peccary at Whipsnade
So would I! It would add a nice pig-like species to that end of the zoo, to compliment the boars, the babirusa (assuming he's still there) and the warties (and whatever's in the farm at any given time).
Regarding Anna who is Whipsnade's new tapir I just found out where she was from. She arrived from Flamingo Land in North Yorkshire as I had a keeper from her previous home telling me about that
