I decided to visit this little zoo since it’s only an hour away from me and I’ve heard quite a bit about it. I only decided to make this list once I got home so I am likely missing some species, but will list what I can remember/have pictures of.

Overall I was fairly impressed with the collection and as a younger zoo-goer there were several species there that I had never seen before. There are several additional experiences you can do such as Giraffe feeding, lorikeet feeding, and African porcupine feeding at different time slots for $5 a person. The facility is also larger than I thought it would be, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The vast majority of the animals seem to be in good condition, although some exhibits could certainly be bigger.

This is my first post on Zoochat so please let me know what you think, and if you have any advice on how I could make future lists or reviews better I would love to hear it!

Presumably generic, AKA: "zoomix". Probably just referred to as an Arctic wolf because it's white colored.

Again, presumably generic/zoomix. I'd guess Bengal/Amur, as that was the favored cross of private breeders in the US for decades.

Probably also generic/zoomix. I'm not certain that Masai Giraffes are even in the private trade.

Annoying, but completely expected for a privately-owned facility. How or why South American Coatis aquired the "Mountain Coati" moniker in the private trade I'll never understand.

The signage here was not too strong, but I wasn’t expecting anything great. Many of the species in the list I identified myself. For example the species of macaws, amazons, and capuchins weren’t specified, instead just placed under their groups names.

Thanks for reminding me, they did have chinchillas on the outside of the reptile house although I’m not sure if they were long tailed. Some other species I remembered are Indian peafowl, either red tailed or red shouldered hawk, and various domestics such as ponies, alpacas, chickens, and several varieties of goats and sheep.
