I'm assuming it's fine, unless you went on a 30-zoo road trip and we're all just now finding out :p in which case I'm looking forward to lots of photos and reviews!

I will bump you down to 9 though, as I excluded Lowland Anoa from eligible species.
I wish haha. I visited 4 other zoos with countable species during the summer, most fairly small, so I don't think I'll be coming from behind to steal anyone's crown :p

and small deer/bovids
Sorry, I didn't realize Anoa didn't count. Is this the line that excludes Anoa?

Yeah, and clarified per this discussion earlier in the thread:

You said small bovids don't count, but none of the examples you gave are actually bovids so I didn't really have anything to compare it too.
Fair enough, that was ambiguous. Lowland Anoa is indeed a small bovid that is distinctly not social (living singly or in pairs) so I think for now I will exclude it.

FWIW if I could go back to the beginning I wouldn't have carved out small deer and bovids, as really it's been more of a headache than anything. But changing rules midstream is worse than a headache for a number of reasons, so no anoa (cool as they are to see).

This discussion made me check back on my list and realize that even though you mentioned to me that anoa doesn't count I forgot to actually remove it. So my total is 55.

Actually it's 54 :p as I also said this:

You are at 53, as 1) you were at 37 rather than 38 because I discounted the Lowland Anoa from your previous update, and 2) you already counted White Rhino from Timbavati.

Both of these were already accounted for on my end, but I appreciate you letting me know :)

I have just gotten back from my Tennessee road trip and visited 6 facilities; Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, Zoo Knoxville, Tennessee Aquarium, Chattanooga Zoo, Nashville Zoo, and Memphis Zoo. In total, I gained 18 new eligible species from my trip, and I was able to see everything that qualified that I didn't already have.

I also just realized that I never posted an update for my visit to Hill City AquaZoo, as I actually gained a single eligible species from there as well.
