Marineland Morecambe memorabilia

Hello,

My father was the first curator at Marineland Morecambe. We've been going through things he kept and there's a lot of Marineland items, such as newspaper cuttings, correspondence about obtaining the animals, photographs and publicity materials.

Would anyone know if there is somewhere that would want this stuff for their archives? It seems a shame to waste it as it's all from the very start. I even have floor plans and building photographs.

Thank you!

Maybe try the Bartlett Society?

The Bartlett Society - for which I am the archivist - would be very interested in taking on the responsibility (and privilege!) of preserving and protecting your father's collection of historical documents relating to Marineland Morecambe.

You can find more information relating to the Society at the following link:

The Bartlett Society

If you send a message to the main contact email for the Society ( zoohistory@gmail.com ) it will be forwarded to myself and the other members of the archive team, and we can discuss matters further :)
