Has anyone managed to catch a glimpse of it yet? I’ve visited the zoo I think four times since he was there, but haven’t been able to see anything yet. Just curious if anyone else had better luck.

That animal is a former Ambassador Animal that was leashed and so imprinted on by human handlers that refuses to show itself in its glass cage.
It is not their for potential breeding ( They have only a singleton in residence) and cowers by the door of its off exhibit housing.
It may suffer the same fate as the proposed Fat tailed Dwarf lemur that was scheduled to co habit the Aye Aye exhibit but the occupants were not mutually compatible and thus the Aye Ayes , naturally, took precedence.
The way to have a successful
Clouded leopard exhibit would be to introduce just weaned cub - or cubs- to exhibit so they adapt to it as their only known habitat .
A mature individual , that has been raised in an entirely different environment will, naturally, have a hard time adapting to entirely new enclosure , lifestyle and circumstance.

i finally seen him last weekend. Great looking animal. Took me a bunch of visits to finally catch him hanging out though. He was just laying down in the bottom right corner of the exhibit.
