Last I watched the Splash Safari on the 19th October (which looking at it now it is admittedly almost a month since then), Pedro was the one performing so if so it's likely been more recent.

Two Updates for today besides Panjang the saltwater crocodile moving back that @Zooish mentioned in another thread.


1. The former paddle-tail newt terrarium has been relandscaped, and now houses the Green pit viper. Its former tank in Reptopia is currently empty

2. The tank (with the kids bubble) that formerly housed knob-tailed geckos now houses Asian forest scorpion

One more small update: A platform is being built at the Nyala exhibit that will soon allow visitors to hand feed the Nyalas.

1. 3 Common Marmosets have taken over Kidzworld's Animals at Play exhibit

2. The Blue Tree Monitor is now signed

In Reptopia:

1. The bubble tank now houses Indonesian Blue-tongued Skink

2. An Indian Ornamental Tarantula has taken over the former New Caledonia Giant Gecko exhibit

3. The Reticulated Python paludarium is closed for renovation

4. An Elongated Tortoise now lives in the outdoor turtle exhibit

I think the Marmosets time share the exhibit with the parrots.

@Zooish The marmosets time-share the exhibit with several other animals, such as the skunks, porcupine, and the Pallas’s squirrel.

Is it the Merauke subspecies or the Halmahera Island one? I hope it's the latter, the poor fella has been kept behind the scenes since 2019!

The entirety of Treetops Trail has been reopened, with an addional small space for Cotton Top Tamarins at the end of the renovated space nearer to the otters.

Iirc, there had previously been a cotton-top tamarins free-ranging there. Has an enclosure been built for them, or are they still free-ranging?

A pair of Ring-tailed Lemurs are free ranging near the gift shop entrance of Treetops Trail, while a pair of Cottontop Tamarins are free ranging at the other entrance.

Iirc, there had previously been a cotton-top tamarins free-ranging there. Has an enclosure been built for them, or are they still free-ranging?

I saw some free ranging tamarins on november 10th

1. The bubble tank signage has been replaced back with a small label for Asian forest scorpion again....

2. A new small terrarium has been set up at the Reptopia hatchery, housing what looks to be a blue Insular pit viper (Trimeresurus insularis)
