Any news about the fat-tailed dwarf lemurs?
The Bronx Zoo causes much consternation among its fansI didn't see them or the Aye-Ayes on Sunday. I didn't see any signs for the dwarf lemurs either.

I would not expect them to force the Fat tailed Dwarf lemurs and Aye Ayes to cohabitate agsindt their wills but I would expect them to create a separate habitat for each species could they not co-existI mean, the Aye-Ayes have access to their off-show den at all times. What is the zoo to do, force them to be on-exhibit if they choose to spend some time elsewhere? Force two species that don't seem to be mixing together well to live alongside?
My visit to the zoo was in the afternoon after another affair and I didn't get to WoD until around 2:30/3pm-ish. Hardly the ideal time for Aye-Ayes. I didn't see the mouse lemurs, sloth, or agouti either.

Some updates from my visit today, I haven’t been to the zoo in a while now so pls let me know if any of this has already been said
- It appears that the King’s skink is gone from zoo center, as the sign was removed and I did not see the animal.
I've seen signs for the clouded leopard on my visit earlier in October, however he was a no show. Seemingly he's been exploring more and more - maybe they added more signage alongside the railing? Some updates from my visit today, I haven’t been to the zoo in a while now so pls let me know if any of this has already been said
- The first floor of the world of birds was closed today, not sure if this was only for cleaning or if something bigger is happening
- The nursery in the world of birds is no longer barricaded and is back to normal
- There are now scarlet faced liocichla in the pheasant aviaries, in with the Cabot’s tragopan
- The clouded leopard is now signed in jungle world
- The exhibit in WoR which used to hold smaller dwarf crocodiles now contains yellow spotted Amazon sideneck turtles

To the best of my recollection the large exterior cages at the north and south end of the Monkey House were occupied by Barbary apes and Mandrill.Visited the zoo earlier today to recruit people into the AIP program. Some updates and questions:
-nothing new in World of Darkness, but had some awesome action from the night monkeys, sloth, mouse lemurs, ringtail, and one of the Timor pythons! One night monkey tapped on the sloths snout twice with their hand And it was feeding time for the ringtail! Aye-ayes were no shows sadly, their behind the scenes access was open. Although the new interactive signage might be starting to malfunction a little.
-I believe the otters from the children’s zoo are now residing in JungleWorld for the winter. Saw the one missing their left eye in the langur exhibit (I know they have a name, I forget).
-The fire bellied toad tank is now blocked off with paper on the inside.
-Is Chi-Yu their only gibbon left? Didn’t see her today.
-There’s still a “Closed” sign in the Dhole exhibit
-3 Snow leopards and an Amur tiger at Tiger Mountain were decently active today! Perfect weather for both in my opinion.
-The Kagu is now in the Maleo exhibit at WOB. Signed and seen.
-Seems that it’s just a Titi monkey exhibit at WOB now
-There’s a pair of blue billed curassows in the last tropic exhibit on the first floor. The one that had quetzals. Which btw, are no longer signed. I guess they no longer have quetzals? Very disappointing if true.
-How long has that mesh been up at the Capercaille exhibit? Cuz I swear that exhibit has been meshed over for at least the last 3 years straight! It’s to the point I can’t figure out the last time I saw it without the mesh.
-Is the knobbed hornbill chick still at the zoo? I didn’t see the chick this time. I did see the lone male, who was honking up a storm!
-The side area of the monkey house where they exhibit the white-headed capuchins was NOT blocked off from the north, so I walked by it just to see the area again. There is still a more modern sign for the capuchins on the cage. I also want to say I’ve always wondered what was last exhibited in those circular outdoor cages. As far as I know they haven’t been in use since for as long as I’ve been alive.

I have a very long and detailed post about this further up in this thread. The Bronx Zoo has a very poor relationship with its clientele .
When I went a week ago there were 2 knobbed hornbills, im not sure how large the chick would be at this point but the second individual was about the same size as the male but with a smaller knob. The female passed away right?Visited the zoo earlier today to recruit people into the AIP program. Some updates and questions:

-They have a black and white one that is very rarely visible. He hides a lot, so I wouldn't be too worried about not seeing him. I am a weekly regular, and I believe I have seen him twice in about 4 years.
-I have made my peace with the idea that we are likely to not see dholes again. They are down to one, and I would be shocked if he is let out onto exhibit alone. Would just open them up to a lot of scrutiny from the public over him being "sad and alone."
-The titis are there, and there are unsigned guam rails, too! They tend to hide/pace a lot near the cluster of vegetation in the back left of the exhibit.
