Bird Paradise Bird Paradise news 2025

Some minor updates once again, mostly from Winged Sanctuary:

The Golden-Shouldered Parrot signboard, being almost worn out for a while now, has recently been replaced. Though instead with a Hooded Parrot signboard strangely enough. Unsure if the former still remain in the enclosure though, haven't seen them in a while.

The Negros Bleeding-Hearts now reside in the former Common Green Magpie enclosure, which have been taking residence in the former Baya Weaver enclosure beside the White-Crowned Hornbills. Just when ya thought the old enclosure for the Bleeding-Hearts was difficult to photograph-

The King Bird-of-Paradise enclosure seems to house a Honeyeater species, though I could not confirm if it was a Blue-Faced at the time and I'm not sure if it actually is permanent.

The former Santa Cruz Ground Dove enclosure apparently now focuses on the Lesser Green Leafbird. It only stars the female on the signboard which I find hilarious

The Black Naped Fruit Dove also recently got a tiny little signboard

Lastly to end with Australian Outback, our Magpie Geese family has expanded with a group of adorable chicks.

Thanks for the update. Have any new birds moved into the former Southern Screamer aviary?

I didn't see any King BoP during my visit earlier this month, nor did I notice any signage. Did I just miss the enclosure?
