I've just come across this piece of news

Prinknash Bird and Deer Park reopens after six-year closure

I visited the place once, some years ago. There were a number of aviaries with domestic pet birds but also a few exotics, with a focus on waterfowl. There were also Fallow Deer which you could walk among and feed.

Any idea what the collection will consist of? A similar line-up to its previous incarnation, or something more ambitious?

Looking at it’s Facebook page they have some pheasants, fallow deer, mules or donkeys, peacocks, doves and other water fowls.
