The large female retic is suppose to be moving to another collection, this decision has i believe been made by its owners the Reptilezone in Bristol,i won`t name the collection but just lets say its not Bristol Zoo thats getting it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:(:eek::eek::mad:

Would this collection you're referring to begin with the letter N? ;)

Why is that? Chester's deal expire? "Mystery" collection paying more money?

What is going to replace the python in the RORA enclosure?

Yep it does begin with an N,not quite sure why shes moving but all i will say is the member of staff at said collection thought the snake they were getting was coming from Chessington, but i`ve had it confirmed the one from a very reliable source that its Chester little monster they are getting. As for the replacement its in the enclosure with her at the moment.

Wouldn't it be rather easy for Chester to buy their own python  A forest coloured morph wouldn't be that expensive, even from the most reputable breeder.

Indeed, and if said collection is the one I'm thinking of, I've seen scabby pet shops keep reptiles in better condition.

It is indeed the place you are thinking of,and they are going to put in the enclosure that has the Peach-throated Monitor in it personally i would have kept that rather than get a very large and agressive Retic but they know best!!!!!!!

I was at a place starting with an N on Friday that had a very nice peach-throated monitor . I must admit I have not seen such a poor Reptile House for a long time .

That will be the place, imagine a very large retic in that enclosure which by all accounts can be a bit of a handfull at the best of times in that enclosure!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I assume Chester were just loaning her then? She's an incredible looking snake, found myself watching her more than I did the Orangs.

Yeah that's what I meant, but thanks anyway :) I wonder how many people considered getting a snake like that without realising it would eat their dog?
And cat-man, I think eveyone knows it ;)

Sorry Ashley-H, I misread it.

Good for her, although I wouldn't have minded having her closer to home lol. I think the exhibit she was planned for at Noahs ark looked ok actually.

Yes it was one of the better ones, but i think they would have had their hands full looking after her given her lovely sweet temperament of if it moves strike at!!!!!!!!

I guess, they don't seem to know how to look after beardies...
