Hi, I'm a new member and love reading all the comments posted on zoochat and have to come everyday to catch up on wats happening. I too love ZT2 and have tried downloading some of the animals and features, however if I save the game and try to come back to it later, it says that the game is unreadable or something. Do you know why this is or wat I should do?? I only have the ZT2 endangered pack, do I need the marine world one as well??
Depending on the type of animal, you may need the African or Marine packs. For example, if you have downloaded an Asian Otter, you would need the Marine pack as that includes the Marine Otter (and subsequently, the otter's body shape and behaviours).
Have you downloaded the patch from the Microsoft website?

Can anyone help me on a level? World Biome one! I run out of money very quickly and can't get it back! 
Ive downloaded some of the animals but i put them in a folder extract it into the Zoo Tycoon folder but nothing happens when i go onto Zoo Tycoon , Is there a specific Zoo Tycoon Folder within it i need or just in it?
Its abit confusing im afraid.
Anyone give me a step to step guide?

Evilkittie if you could provide us with more information we might be able to help you, like what the challenge actually is? (Haven’t played zoo tycoon in months so excuse my lapse in memory)

Are you playing a campaign game? If so, try selling off unnecessary fencing/paving/foliage (that already exists in the zoo) and sitting on your money.
You should always buy a compost heap. Pick up the litter/muck out and feed the animals yourself until you have some $20,000 + in the bank, and hunt for fossils yourself too.
Buy a resturant at the earliest opportunity, and a gift stall.
Buy a Bone Pit and Extinct Education Centre-you can flog the statues and entertain the guests.
A favourite trick of mine (if you have the Extinct expansion pack) is to buy an Extinct Animal Creation Centre (make sure you have some spare money-at least $1000). You can hunt for fossils whilst waiting for your money to build up, then create extinct animals once you have the money for fencing/space in a compatable biome (dodo+tapir is a good example, and quagga+sivatherium+giant roan antelope).
The babies they produce, like with critically endangered and endangered animals (try to buy them too when you have the money (females first works best because they get impatient to breed)), recieve reward balloons worth $250-sell some, then keep some for sale later. Some of the best breeders are bluebuck and dodo-quick and plentiful.
A trick with dodos-give them a pool of water to sit in. They love it.
And they're about the only tips I can think of atm

I do know if you give a pool of water they drink from it and you don't have to have a water bowl!
Also if you are having problems with Giant Tortoises give them a smallish enclosure with food/shelter near each other and a small pond. Always works with me.
Sadly don't have EA yet....

World biome zoo is where you have to get a exhibit with each biome..excluding eny in MM2 and grassland... you also have to have one animal inside (duh!) that its. you start off with $5000

1. get your folders
2. find the .z2f files
3. copy them into zoo tycoon 2 folder
4. done

Ah yes I think I just saved enough money up to buy the remaining animals put thm in creates and once I had them all painted the required biome around them and the released them

lolz... on ones where you need e.g 16 species just buy one crate it! ive done that before! tyvm tuan
EvilKittie-personally I would get EA as it has the most new animals and is a great help in campaign mode. AA is good (especially if you like African animals-see wiki for the full list) but you don't get as much in the way of new animals, furniture, etc. You can either in any order, though I believe EA was released first (2004/2005?)
As for World Biome-maybe start again, buy cheap fencing and animals next time (Thom gazelle, moose, etc) and wait between building a new enclosure (at least until you've recouped your expenditure). Build them against the wall and next to each other, as that way you only need two or three sides of fencing. Also, the enclousres needn't be huge, nor full of foliage. The animals are quite happy with rather sparse homes
