Bring back Ultimate Zoo to Animal Planet Petition : [ powered by iPetitions.com ]

I wonder what a "bumping thread" is?

great idea Miniaturezoo954 is it okay to use zoochat name this way?

Hi Zooman, i figured that since so many members wanted to see this series again or for the first time i might as well start the petition, but it was a bad idea to place the zoochat name on it, i don't think that Sim's liked that too much, and i can understand why, i will remove the zoochat name from the petition, i really did not think it was a big deal, but i learned different, anyways most of the people that have signed it are friends of mine, the members of the forum seem to not care much for airing of Ultimate Zoo, no wonder the canseled taping season two, no interest whatsoever, can't understand why, it was one of the best zoo programs ever produced.

HEY minuturezooman!! This thread petition is now automaticaly asking me for a donation of $10.00 US Dollars. Thats not right mate. Maybe you want to think more about this process

Zooman that is not correct, basically that is an option at the end that the website refers you to, but in no way shape or form it is related to the petition, and you can just ignored it, the petition is free of cost, and it takes about 5 seconds to fill out, just name, email and if you want to write something to animal planet, it is your choice.

take care zooman and thank you for your support.
Danny

PS: what i have not figured out is how to be able to change what i wrote so i can take the part of zoochat out of there since i did not ask the permission of zoochat webmasters, and that is really not a good way to start the petition, i have tried several options, but i can't come up with a way to edit the post, it will not let me, i will have to send a message to Sim and find out if we could have some sort of late permission, if not i will contact the petition host and ask them to remove it, but this is the only violation since the money part really has nothing to do with the petition, that is an option to help that website keep on runing free of charge.

very interesting idea, it's great to try and bring back an awesome program like this! but then again, it would be very complex in order to bring a series back from the ashes.
But if so I'm ure it will be on every zoochat members TV screens when it's on. !!

you really have a point but the series is really not that old, and they could very easily run it one more time, at least for those of us who missed episodes, and like you said i can't really think of people that like zoos and wouldn't care to see this spectacular show, i myself only saw a few episodes and thought that it was the best ever, i have been trying to buy it online but it pretty much never was intended for a dvd and was never converted into it, i did manage to contact the producing company about a month back and i was informed that they had no rights to the series since they produced it for the discovery network, futhermore they were in the process of producing a second season and then the plug was pulled, the initial ratings of the episodes were actually really good, better than expectations, but somewhere along there the interest was lost, i think it had to do with the airing time of the series since it was never primetime.

The did a trial version with the series primetime and it did not work good so at the end it was removed.

anyways if we could only interest them enough to either run again the old season, create a new season or release on dvd, they have so many shows about domestic animals in that channel that it should be ranamed the pets channel, or animal cops, but the animal kingdom is much more bigger than this as we all know.

I will sign it, too, Miniaturezoo954, just to make you happy :D - but you got to give us some updates on you wonderful and remarkable project!

When are you going to start putting it all together?! :)

I know I may sound like a dumb ass, but what is Ultimate Zoo about?

Not at all men, you just never got around to see it, i will tell you what it was about it was 13 episodes, each episode was an hour long, and featured 3 of the top zoo exihbits in the world, they would tell you how much it cost to build them, will of course show you the exihbit in detail, and a lot of times would show even footage of the construction period, and show you what was there before.

In short order, it was zoochat member's dream, i really think most of the members here never found out about it, because it was so perfect for them that you would think they would be completely over this thread, but i'm glad i got the chance to at least let you know what Ultimate Zoo was.

To give you examples of zoo exihbits that were featured in detail just a quick preview:
Wings of Asia (miami metrozoo)
Congo (bronx zoo)
Polar bear plunge (san diego zoo)
Masoala rainforest (zurich zoo)
that is just 4 of them, it was 39 exihbits all around the world, and the camera views and angles were spectacular.

Dear Dan, thank you for helping out, i understand that you most likely do not get Animal Planet overthere, but i make the compromise that if they air the show again, i will upload each episode, maybe in youtube or a different site and tell you first thing, you will love them, this episodes were exactly what you and me enjoy.
anyways the project is going 100% foward, i have gotten very far, right now i have a tripple garage that looks like a construction zone, and i did start a thread about a couple of mixed species bird of prey aviaries i will refer you to it:
http://www.zoochat.com/2/self-developed-vulture-enclosures-87726/

and for a more detailed progress i post in a different forum, there is many members there that are aware and follow this massive project, i really appreciate your support and would love for you to join us there, i have not exactly being able to find a following in this site, have no idea why, thought that they would in the most part love the project.

but maybe they have it confused with a toy zoo diorama, i have no idea what it is, but it has not gotten much attention from the average zoochat reader.

anyways here it is Dan
