Michaela's animal road trip, has confirmed that Elila is pregnant.

Hopefully she will have succesfully birth this time at with Dicky as the father.

I thought she must be otherwise London wouldn't have been happy to swap. It should work out well as both zoos now have one experienced breeder in the current pairings, though Mbuti won't be needed (hopefully) for a while yet provided Elila's calf is succesfull this time.

From what you describe above it sounds as if they may be interested/ attracted to each other which is 2/3rds of the battle. It certainly sounds more hopeful than Stuma/Mbuti or the short term visitor male from Marwell.(They did have one, didn't they?)

Yes they did they tried Kiburi (Marwell) last summer, it mentioned she turned down 3 other males, I presume that one was at Stuggart?

Things do look good for the pair with the behaviour I observed last weekend.
