Hi every1,
This is kind of a varied thread but i'll start with Chester.
I went to Chester again yesterday, i only went for the last few hours and even at 6:05 the Zoo was still completely packed. Anyway my first stop was the Gemsbok (ovbioiusly) via the Dik-Dik's. But when i arrived the exhibit the first thing that caught my re-action was that the door to the Dik Dik stable was closed! I have seen the dik dik at chester before but i was saddend that i couldn't see them today. Anyway the reason for this was because keepers were planting more plants and shrubs in their enclosure but with-out taking the old ones out. I went back to see if they were finished at the end of the day but they hadn't and potted trees and shrubs were sitting all-over their exhibit.
Now the second thing at Chester is Toilet Doors!
Now i don't usually have a crap in a Zoo, but i was completely desperate. And i noticed something that i haven't noticed before, Zoo's Advertising Membership, Adoptions and Gift-Aid on toilet doors. Now on the door of my "throne" (toilet) was "wildest wishes" and while it was empty the Rest-rooms were empty i checked the other toilets and there was membership and Adoption signs. And it sort-of made me laugh that while people are trying to have a crap in peace they look up and see the Zoo Advertising Adoption. But i think it's a good idea as probably a lot of people are members and Adopters because of these posters.
That's it about Chester now.
Now i came accross this link when i was trying to find the story about Paington Zoo's Elephant Shoes but i found this link in-stead about a Gay elephant
