snow leopard enclosures

I have a question about snow leopard enclosures. I have seen pictures of the Kolmården exhibit but are any others open without a roof or mesh cover?

I think every other exhibit I have seen is in this covered style and I'd be interested to know about any other ways of exhibiting them.

I think port lympne's is open topped

I have only ever seen 2 snow leopard enclosures in person (paradise WP and welsh mountain) and there has been a recent cub at both!

I've never seen a cub, would love to though. The best place I've seen them is the Bronx. I'll check out the Port Lympne gallery to see if there are any pictures.

Lympne's is open topped, never seen another one that is though (although I've only seen Howlett's and Lympne's in person).

In the past there was an open-top enclosure for snow leopards at Howletts , in the area behind the main shop and cafe . I think it was later used for bush dogs . The fence surrounding this not very large enclosure was , to my mind , very low . I would have thought the snow leopards could easily have jumped out had they wished to . The much bigger open enclosure at Port Lympne has a much higher fence .
