Does anyone have a map they could add to here? The interactive one on their website is cool but I can't get an overall view of how things are laid out.

Thanks!

Just thought I'd reiterate what Shirokuma has already said as I too am interested in finding an overall map. (just to keep attention)

The building and adjoined aviary enclosure previously housed Livingstone's Bats. The Bats are temporarily housed elsewhere while the area is redeveloped :)

Also, the Wallabies symbol is now taken up by the Red River Hogs, the lawn to the left of the Dodo Cafe and below the Radiated tortoise is the Discovery Desert, Meerkat and Porcupine enclosure.
The Walled garden area which shows the meerkat, black and white ruffed lemur etc, is now under redevelopment as a new lemur and bird area, (possibly with some herps...)

Does that mean the poly-tunnel enclosure for the bats is just a temporary enclosure or is there two groups of bats?

Sorry I've lied slightly!
The poly tunnel houses the Livingstone's Bat, the building you were asking about was the Rodrigues Fruit Bat enclosure!

The polytunnel is an ancient enclosure which will be redeveloped in the near future. I'll have to have a walk out there (into the great wilderness beyond the herp house!!!) to find out where they are currently :)

There was a topic where someone said you could get around the whole site in 20 minutes if you didn't stop to look at anything. It's not quite that small, I'd say more like an hour to get around the whole site without stopping to look.
I've spent every lunchtime this week trying to get out and take a couple of new photos. I made it as far as the Orangs on Saturday!!!!

Okay thanks, now I understand. the whole site looks bigger than I imagined (or could tell from the interactive map).
