There are no sumatran rhino in Europe as fars as am aware, don't know about collection plans but it is highly unlikely we will see sumatran rhino in europe.

Al has mentioned the species is only seen in one collection outside of asia and it wont be the only ones in europe. So it rules out sumatran rhino's.
 
They will be in my team and i think i'll be looking after them in quaratine!

I suppose the 6 months they will be off-show will be because of quaratine, so to me this suggest a primate species.

or more likely a carnivore, he said adding more fuel to this particular fire

Leipzig zoo have been mentioned as having Sumatran rhino for the currently under construction gondwanaland

I didn't think a carnivore species had such a long quaratine period, thus my thinking behind a primate species. I have a few in mind. ;)
 
cool so would that maybe place them between the Avenue and the lake??
It'd be brilliant to see rhinos at Belfast but becoming more unlikely each clue:p
 
I dont think its Sumartran tiger, didnt someone mention that it'l be an animal thats only exibited in one other place out of Asia?
 
CAnt find anything else and it said it arrived this last week. Have to wait and see then..
 
No it's coming next week. Hasn't come yet and it probably won't be on there website till after quaretine is over.
 
Oh now this IS exciting!! So we're thinking it's a Carnivore species or a Primate species? I'm also gonna wager a bet on a carnivore species. Some sort of dog/fox/wolf species maybe?
