Dartmoor Zoo Lion Man Craig Busch at Dartmoor!

Yes, I remember visiting in 2001 and watching a pair of unsupervised cubs (Blotch and Stripe) frolicking in the cafe whilst outside was a sign saying "No Dogs"!
In regards to this matter, I have nothing more to add other than that I too am very disappointed in Dartmoor for condoning Craig Busch. However, whilst in the business can I suggest they could also earn a little on the side by skinning their own tigers and selling them on the chinese black market? As I say, very disappointed; especially in Mee who claims in his book to have been most upset about ducks in the walk-through enclosure being euthanised. Then again, perhaps I got the wrong impression of him.
And, judging by the height of some of those fences, I would not be at all surprised if a wolf did end up at the door!

CONGRATS TO DARTMOOR FOR HAVING THE SENSE NOT TO LISTEN TO ALL THE VISCIOUS ACCUSATIONS AGAINST CRAIG BUSCH! You will have a lot of happy visitors when he is there. He is a lovely person and is magic with animals.
To all those the believe everything they read & hear with regards to Craig Busch - grow up and get a life - I know the truth and you will too one day soon and until then I think you should refrain from repeating heresay. You could get yourselves into a lot of trouble by stating things as fact when they are unproven. It is nothing but slander.

Am sorry but anyone that promotes "Royal Bengal Tigers" as a rare animal is wrong and misleading the public. Forget all the rest; this is why I don't think he should be seen at Dartmoor. Are you going to argue am wrong here as well?

Most interesting that comment above. Slander yes one can get into trouble for it. Including the multitude of viscous accusations made against the current Operator Zion Wildlife Gardens that seem to be rife on the Fanpage. Also name calling as in "Megan the Mouth, Tim "Tongs" Husband, Trout face and should I continue? We get an almost nightly show of the same hate directed at Zion Wildlife Gardens. It's not Fanpage anymore it's become a page to direct hate at the park. What is the park about? The Cats rather than the individual person. It does nothing to enhance the reputation of those that support Mr Busch rather it makes them appear to be a lawless mob.

As an open forum EVERYONE is entitled to their opinion and I hope this post does not descend into a slanging match and gets closed, as this is obviously a issue everyone has strong opinions on!!!
Pussycatz1 I am sure the courts and authorities in NZ are fair and just and decisions by them will hopefully be in the best interest of the animals kept at Zion and any other animals Craig Busch is connected with!

well said MadbushFarm and KarenZoo. I'm sure the NZ courts have it all in hand, it really is no one's business at the end of the day. I'm also sure that it the NZ "Lionman" wasn't a celebrity no one would care quite frankly. Let's let the authorities handle it after all they have more "proof" than the rest of us.

Yes of course, far more civilised to post innocent photos and try and imply some unpleasant sexual connotation, accuse someone of drug taking and animal abuse, or have you forgotten Megan's page? Let's not forget that sadly a man did loose his life by a tiger at Zion Wildlife Park a tragedy that may well have been avoided if Craig Busch had still been at his park when it happened.
I dissagree , I think that they are being open minded and fair. They will also benefit from the revenue generated.

Many parks here in the uk are not touching him. Only the small 1s who think they will make money will. Oh and have you seen the post about him bringing his own stock with him to Sell? i hope the parks ask for a percentage? I wonder if he will answer some questions while there? Hopefully in front of the British Press then Sky may remove his show

Sadly a man was killed at Zion Wildlife Park by a tiger in May of this year, but not whilst Craig Busch was in control of his park

Gosh ! you are in denial . The Lionman series is constantly repeated because the show is so very popular and people like to watch Craig Bush interact with his cats .
I for one hope he raises as much money as he can , I for one do not really care how he does this , so that he can buy his park back ASAP.
This whole situation regardless if you support him or not is morally wrong!

There is no hatred directed at Zion Wildlife gardens , the majority of people do love and are concerned about the cats long term future
We wouldn't even be commenting about this if the Park had not been created by Craig Busch , and known throughout the world because of the Lionman television series.
If you find any of these comments that I have made to be from someone from a lawless mob then you have my pity.
The Craig Busch fan page has well over 25.000 + fans who support him . That is an awful lot of "nutty female fans " as you so put it
Maybe they are just decent people who think it is morally wrong for his mother to eject him from his own park .
The tragedy would have been totally avoided by no-one deliberately entering an enclosure with a tiger, because it is an animal that has the capability of killing a human, accidently or otherwise and by respecting that fact you respect the tiger itself.
Craig Busch often mentioned in the Lionman series that no one should ever leave their guard down when dealing with these animals and never to forget that do have the capacity to kill humans
The fact is though , he was not at the park when this tragedy happened and untill the investigation report is made known we can only speculate if this would have happened if he had been.
Not to mention the fact that tiger mums who were doing fine, suddenly reject their cubs after he's been in there and had photo's taken with her, its totally clear from the photo that she doesn't want the camera in her face
What about the tiger that sufficated it's young cub due to her lack of mothering skills ?
If he had removed that cub it woulddn't had died, and the next the next one that she did give birth to did stay with her , so please get your fact's correct . Not animals are born mothers.
