Are you sure on this because I`ve asked a few people on the Giraffe TAG and they all say he`s pure!!
They may not want to breed from him because of his health issue`s but like I said above the people I`ve spoken to seem to think he`s pure,because if he`s not then the whole of Longleats herd will have to be ripped apart to remove any HYBRIDS and to me that doesn`t even bare thinking about as that would have an impact on alot of zoo`s that hold Baringo that have received youngsters from Longleat in the past,as it could result in many more so called pure Baringo`s turning out to be Hybrids in other collections.

I must admit to finding this very confusing. 'Koife' is identified on their ID board as the one without any tail tassle. Though I am not really doubting his ancestry this male does actually exhibit the most typical 'Reticulated' pattern- network of very thin white lines on the brown body,- far more than any of the three 'pures'. I wonder how that can be?
