From their online shop T+C's:
'All items sent to UK addresses are insured up to the sum of £36 and claims can be made directly to Royal Mail in the event of non-delivery ...

Wrong, and wrong again - goods are owned by the vendor until they're in the hands of the customer, exactly as if you bought it in person at a bricks and mortar shop. It's totally their responsibility if a package goes missing (you can easily self-insure against postal loss by adding a few pence to the postal charge). Sorry
but this sort of thing drives me crazy, it looks so unprofessional.
