It wouldn't be the mystery animal Belfast is getting would it? Though I doubt with Chester, Marwell, London possible contenders Belfast would get them

With the greatest respect, I'd be very careful with comments like this we do also have alot of experience with delicate species and are just as respected in the zoo community as these other three great British collections!

Saying that we are not getting them! Yellow backed duikers though have been in our collection plan and we have been offered animals but are unable to import currently!

Didn't mean it like that Al, what I menat was that those zoos, to my knowledge, are in the midst of redevelopment and expansion so I naturally assumed they would be going to one of them for one of their new sections or areas.

No, this is a Red Forest Duiker and she is at Chester.

But there is a Blue Duiker at Colchester and has been for some time.

So with the Blue at Colchester and the Red at Chester the UK's duiker population is now up to 2!

If you want to find out which collection has it keep your eye on it appearing on ISIS as for how I know how its doing I have been speaking to the person in charge of the mammal collection at the collection its at!
