Must read Zoochat threads

I thought it would be useful to point out some of the best 'must read' threads of zoochat. The ones sparking heated debate, the ones with bucket loads of information, the ones that are likely to provide the most interesting and informative reads.

I though this might be most useful to new members. Feel free to nominate a thread or argue against the nomination of a thread.

The infamous guzoo debate (though i'm not sure if its a 'must read' or just a thread that sticks out in memory) -

There may be more but I've got to remember them first  . any additions are welcome. :)

The debate attached to the photo of KateA and Kamal, her lion.

And any thread involving the words "Craig" and "Busch" in the one sentence.

:p

Hix[/QUOTE]

You just had to bring that one up Hixy ;)

Anything that mentions the sentence 'Howletts gorilla cages are so unnaturalistic' with the response 'but the gorillas love them'.

holy smokes I just read the thread attached to the KateA photo. What a storm in a teacup. Poor Kate. And I never knew about Hix's temporary sex change!:D

this thread is a good idea foz, although in my opinion a few of the choices given by posters shouldn't really be considered "must-reads" unless they're cautionary examples of how one shouldn't behave on forums.

This thread by Pertinax http://www.zoochat.com/4/sections-zoochat-do-you-look-101669/ didn't get a huge number of responses (possibly because it was posted in one of the least frequented parts of the forum, the help and feedback section) but it does seem that quite a lot of members don't venture often from a duo of the General section and their own country section, which I find quite sad because there is just so much interesting stuff they are missing out on. Personally I scroll through all sections where there are new posts and read any threads that look of interest to me (hence the reason I dislike meaningless titles like "???!!??" or "what do you think?"). So this thread (by which I mean the current one by foz) has to be good for drawing the attention of the non-wandering-members to fascinating threads they may otherwise be completely unaware of.

indeed , the Howletts gorilla cages did cause a bit of a problem here on zoochat

The whole naturalisitic debate is, in my opinion, a great demonstration of zoochat. where people discuss / debate their difference of opinions over zoos. For that reason I would agree the Howletts Gorilla cages debates are a must read thread for anyone who hasn't read them.

has anyone mentioned snowleopard's epic roadtrip?

totally off topic: what does sticky thread mean?

That is a very tricky 1!

It all depends on which aspects of this forum you find most interesting.:);)

a thread that is attached permanently at the top of the forum list so that it doesn't get lost. You'll notice that this thread will never move from its position, as it is "sticking" there :)
