Chester Zoo 2 new animals bcoming in!!

Hopefully the otters have been diverted away from South Lakes to Chester instead, great news. :)

Bad news for you Chesters Giant Otters are not the ones that are planned to go to South Lakes,there is the very real chance of there being 3 pairs of Giant Otters in the North of England before the end of the year,both species should be in the zoo in the next few months but will be off-show for about 3-5 months.

I can't wait for the giant anteaters to arrive! They'll probably go near the "Spirit of the Jaguar" as that area is suppose to be the south american jungle themed according to the Natural Vision Map!
 
Interesting. I don't think the anteaters will be very hard to accommodate (at least temporarily) - but I guess they will either have to build a new enclosure or make considerable modifications to an existing one for the giant otters.

They have got to quarantine the Anteaters hence the delay plus the house isn`t built yet.

I cannot say were they are going to go as I`m not allowed to say,as for where the Otters are coming from they are both coming from Germany,the male from Hamburg sorry but have forgotten which zoo the female is coming from.
 
Wow! This is fantastic news. I've always wanted Chester to aquire Anteaters, no matter how common they are, still a fantastic species. Giant Otters, i've never actually seen before so again will be a fantastic addition.

Now we get to play the guessing game as to where they can go aswell lol!
 
This is excellent as I've never seen Giant Anteaters or Giant Otters before.

Will Chester Zoo be still keeping the Asian Small-clawed Otters?

Chester used to keep Giant Anteaters in the past in fact the house was only knocked down recently.
