That's a bit of a surprise- so she wasn't pregnant after all?
6 African hunting dogs have been born at the zoo and are now on show, along with a female giraffe.

Dont think it was reported anywhere else. Dublin zoo have recently got some Mauremys annamensis, Annam leaf turtles. they are officially extinct in the wild! Dublin have a nice reptile collection and one of the nicest reptile houses I have ever seen. However most of their animals are fairly common so it is nice to see them moving into more endangered species.
I take it that they are from Chester? I know they hatched a number last year and have already sent some to Bristol Zoo.

i work there its around 900,000 have yet to hit the million mark yet but getting closer every year,which is good when you think of the size of Ireland hope this helps

Does anybody know when the elephantbull is comming to Dublin? And the plan was that Hussein from Hamburg zoo would become the new breeding bull. Is that still the plan or has it changed?
