Manor House Wildlife Park have stated on their new website that 3 new oryx females have arrives from Fota wildlife park. Also they say they have formed a Damara Zebra breeding programme with Colchester Zoo to keep bloodlines healthy.
 
sounds good! I'm glad about the damara zebra as it makes a nice chnage from Burchells or Grevy's.

Is there any more news on the rhino's / bison situation
 
They have long held Damara zebra and did a swap with Colchester - the only other UK holder - a while ago .

Do you know where Manor House's came from originally? For a long time Bristol (circa 1980's) had a small group which may have later gone to Blackpool. Are these the same, or descended from, the same group I wonder?

I believe Blackpools went Manor House when they changed species.
 
Nice to see they're getting some rarer/more uncommon species in, though I do hope they keep the bison.
 
There was no sign of last year's arrivals when I visited in the Autumn .
