Port Lympne's African Experience
I agree 100% which is why I have never taken this trip, particularly as there is nothing in the reserve I haven't seen many times before at other collections.
I think the crux of it is that this 'experience' was created for the 99% of visitors(including many children) who presumably enjoy the excitement of the 'Safari' and don't question any alternative methods of viewing these animals. People like us who want to stop, linger, photograph or return later, aren't really catered for in the planning of these types of exhibit.
I'd still be interested to know how successful it has been in terms of the revenue its created, though I think I for one will continue to visit just the rest of Port Lympne .
I just expressed a dislike for being carted past animals on a ride rather than being given the opportunity to watch (and photograph!) them.
