Douc langurs in captivity

According to this link I have found Douc Langur (Pygathrix nemaeus): Fact Sheet, 2003

Which has traced a part of the history of one of these species in captivity the Red-shanked douc langur was fairly common in zoos in both USA and Europe at one point, in 1973 still being held in 15 zoos. Only 7% of these apparently lived for a long time so I guess most only had them for a few years at most.

Aim very curious to know which zoos has held this species in the past but I havent been able to find out much yet, this is what I have been able to figure out so far myself, some of it may not be correct however.

Cologne Zoo (Germany): Has the only group remaning in Europe.

Howletts (UK): Population died out in the 1990s.

Memphis Zoo (USA): Population died out, dont know when.

Philadelphia Zoo (USA): Has two at the moment, both coming from San Diego.

San Diego Zoo (USA): From what I have understand the San Diego population had almost faded away some 1-2 year ago, having just 2-3 left earlier in 2007, but they recieved a large number from somewhere? do anyone knows excatly? somewhere in Asia most likely? or have I just missunderstod the whole thing.

This means that it has been kept in at least 10 other places in Europe and USA in the last 40-50 years, would be very happy to hear something about this.

From what I have been able to gather the only instutions having Grey-shanked and Black-shanked is the Endangered Primate Rescue center in Vietnam.

Have any of these two ever been kept elsewhere? not even as hybrids between some of these two and the Red-shanked?

Frankfurt and Stuttgart had them around this time. I've got a vague memory of Twycross having apair but I'm not really sure.

Basel Zoo had some in the late 1960's/70's, probably around the same time as other European zoos were importing.

I think London Zoo had some as well, at a much later date-1980's?

i don't think Twycross has ever had them, they had proboscis monkeys and were the first and only zoo in Britain to breed them. W Berlin had a group in the seventies.

No, I'm almost certain Twycross have never had Doucs, only the Proboscis.

I saw Doucs at Regents Park in the Sobell Pavilions, I think it was in the late '70s. They never looked happy, I'm afraid.

I have found a photo from 1973 and posted it in the London Zoo thread on the Sobell Pavilions and in the gallery.
