Puzzled can you help?

Hi I was wondering if anybody could help me. A while ago i saw a program on channel 5 i think possibly of Michaela Strachans programs were they showed lions moving into a new exhibit at a zoo. The exhibit has both indoor an outdoor viewing areas with the indoor area being landscaped to look like rocks mountains etc. I think in the program they were introducing a new pair of females to a male so im guessing they were african lions. Just wondered if anybody knew what zoo this might be

It's not the exhibit at flamingo land is it? I remember it was on Animal Park and they were introducing two new lions..
I may be wrong, but I think it meets your description quite well!

It could be, now that you mentioned Animal Park it rings a bell. thanks Martin. I will try and find some pics to confirm.

They recently introduced two Asiatic Lionesses at Dudley to their resident male. I can't picture the enclosure in my head though.

Unfortunatly it's not the zoo they're looking for Dudley's enclosure is quite open and has the Tecton Building within it's paddock.

Micheala Strachan's program last year showed 0:2 new lions being introduced to a male at South Lakes. Could this be what you remember?

Oh yeah, i remember that programme. Did they ever integrate that pride together fully.

Do South Lakes hold 1:4 now?

The Flamingoland lions were on the zoo vet programme on Sky 3.

They were doing training on them-I'm pretty sure they said they came from Longleat.

They were in a building that was mocked up to look like a cave from the outside.

I've seen the Flamingo Land lion house and it is huge, it must be one of the biggest in the country(?). It is split on two levels, and the lions can view the whole of the outside enclosure and further afield from inside. The outside is pretty big also. Not sure if the inside looked like a cave though, but it was themed. I remember seeing the lions arriving on the animal park programme too, so it may be this that you have seen, but that would be quite a few years ago now!!
