Oh great another thread going in a different direction from what it started aa why not just create a thread were you can guess and speculate about what species,may or not breed at Chester and leave this thread for what has actually been born!!

I was going to just leave it, but then I couldn't resist . Seriously though, I agree this should probably be just for births (also, it isn't speculation on my part, rather just what I'd like to see). Anyway, lets get back on topic now .

According to the zoo today:

1 Victorian Crowned Pigeon
1 Radiated Tortoise
4 Utila Island Iguanas (possibly 5)

If I recall correctly, the Victorian crowned pigeon chick is being hand-reared as the parent birds had nested in a precarious spot above the path on the edge of another aviary in the Tropical Realm. The radiated tortoise egg was left behind after that area of the Realm was renovated. The youngster dug its way up only to surface into what is now the Galapagos tortoises area.

Its not been announced yet but there's a lot of speculation that the female dwarf mongoose is pregnant. The keepers think its possible as well as she has put a lot of weight on quickly and there food hasn't increased. Message is watch this space.
