Yes, Matz has offspring in several breeding situations in Europe.
Horst/Harry in Dublin has three offspring there so far(all males) He's an odd male- never looks 'impressive' and often moves around with his hands on his ears.
Beauval- have done well with the gorillas since Asato arrived. Asato is the uncle of Mapema- who has just come to Duisburg. Both these males have a nearly identical history- see the European Gorilla thread for details.
I think perhaps the third female pregnant at Beauval may be 'Tamarilla'(ex Howletts) rather than Sheila? Sheila was born at Rotterdam and handraised, they tried to add her into the Apenheul group but she didn't integrate so was sent to Beauval instead.

it seems like Kabinda's baby- Khala- was thought to be female but has turned out to be male...
Its good that Inge is rearing her baby- when she lived in Zurich she was never a good mother- I believe another female (Mamitu) used to steal her babies from her..
I'm pretty sure Dorrett(chen) is still alive at Frankfurt. Another son of hers was Klaus(full brother to Horst) who went to Paignton, then Bristol Zoo where he bred once with Undi (ex Cologne) before they both died. Undi's male baby 'Djenghi' was only about nine months old when she died so he was transferred to the Stuttgart nursery. I believe he may be in Austria now?
Dorrett's other son Horst/Harry at Dublin is a peculiar male- despite good rearing and social group at Frankfurt he looks disturbed-often holds his hand to his ear, mutilates his fingers and moves around crouching- yet he has bred okay(3 sons)....
Its interesting to note that Inge has now had babies with two silverbacks who are full brothers! The male at her last home-Zurich- is 'N'Gola, a much older brother of her current mate 'Asato.' 'Asato' is the very last offspring of Jersey's famous 'Jambo.'
