Just a few notes from today if anyone's interested. Highlight had to be getting to meet Jessie, one of the two tame young foxes, up close when the keeper came in to check on both her and Woody; stroking a fox was not one of the things I had expected today, brilliant.

They were probably the most active animals in a quiet day at the park, but at the height of the summer holidays what do you expect.

Then again, only no-shows were the usual subjects, namely lynx, mink and hedgehogs. Few minor changes, there's some african land snails in the butterfly house and one of the wildcat enclosures is being refurbed.
