I don't know if a thread like this has ever been around before, but it is now. These are the rules.

I ask a zoo or animal related trivia question, and you guys answer. Whoever gets it right has to post up their own question. But we gotta keep it going! If you don't post up the new question in 24 hours, the poster of the original question goes again. Also, the poster of the current question has the right to pull the question in favor of another one, if he/she feels it's too hard. Okay? First question:

This New World Vulture was thought to just be a legend until South America was explored in detail. It has been seen only once in the States, and that's in Central Florida. It is known as the only Vulture than can pierce the hyde of freshly dead animals.

Macaroni Penguin, my good sir!

This Southeast Asian Terrapin is much unlike it's North American counterpart of the same name in that it is a semi-aquatic Turtle, or Terrapin, while the similarly named North American animal is a Tortoise. It is instantly indentifiable by it's black head with yellow borders on the jaws and snout, plus the creamy white underside of the lower jaw and shell.

This bovid is notorious for its aggression. From the looks of this animal you would never guess it could jump so high. Henry Doorly Zoo has the largest number of these guys in the United States.

If you read "The Life of Pi" this animal is the first that escapes from its holding area.

WRONG! Chinstrap penguin
 
This playful carnivore is the largest in its family. The largest group of them in the US is in Philadelphia.
 
Giant otters :)

An individual of this family once escaped it's enclosure by night, to snack on it's neighbours only to sneakily return to it's own enclosure before it's stumped keepers returned the next morning.

Only with security camera's did they reveal what made the animals in it's neighbouring enclosure disappear...

Ok, this elderly individual is the last of his kind and sadly is infertile.
