it looks like a jaguar to me though its head isnt as broad?:o

Hehe, a three-toed sloth. Aren't all ones in Britain Two-toed?

As for the Jaguar/Leopard thing, I noticed that the head had more of a leopard look about it and if you look at the rosettes there are no little spots in any of them like a jaguar has.
 
I would say 'Jaguar' because the head looks quite stocky to me; the ground fur colour is darker than a Leopard, which tends to be a more uniform buff, with less contrast with the paler foreparts; not all Jaguar rosettes have internal spots, and they are larger than a Leopard's (though the ones in the photo are sort of intermediate). The face does have a slightly leopardy look, but that might be down to the snarl?
 
Ahh right, I thought the 'spots in the rosettes' was the main way of telling (since none of the rosettes have spots in this pic, its not just a few don't). I can't see why it would be a picture of a leopard (and it is likely it was taken at the zoo [South Lakes don't have leopards]), it just looks more leopard to me.
