I thoought we would start a new update thread as the other one was getting a bit long

So I will start thjis with the news of a new arrival in the Reptile House

A Rhinoceros Iguana as now been put with the Coahulan Box Tortoise and Hermann's Tortoise (Photograph in the Gallery)

Also the Pygmy Marmoset have had Twins again about a week old

Snow Leopard moving to Howletts they hope to replace shortly

Otters still not moved to there old enclosure and no update avaidable on the Giraffe deaths as yet

It was great to see all four species of Lemur out in the walk through and managed to see the Mongoose Lemurs for the first time along with the white faced scops owl for the first time

And still nosign of the arrival of any new primates yet the house is fully refubished and waiting

Adrian,
Do you know when the snow leopard is leaving? I'd like to see hime before he goes.

18th September this was put on the old update thread earlier by Fire&ice it will be a shame to see him go I do like Snow Leopards alot

Just a quick update from the old thread

Billy no mates is now intergrating well with the other Penguins

Wutai left for Howletts yesterday to be pair with their female snowy Marta.

Oh dear, I missed saying bye to him them.
What is his new enclosure like at Howletts as I've never been?
And I assume he's going to be kept apart from Marta for quite sometime??

Does this mean they have brought forward the arrival of the new pair then? As won't be going to the zoo untill november at the earliest due to going to other collections
