They would make it less than a month before I get my membership lol. Are member's days usually around the same time every year? Also, how many are there a year (is it 2?), and if they are around the same time when is the other one?

no probs - questions are allowed
there have been 3 in every 12 month period normally (ish) and they are sort of April, July & November ish - they are actually hidden on the new 'hard to find any info out' website - if you loose the will to live trying to find them let me know and I'll put you out of your misery (tip - head for the members area first)

I must be going mad in my old age,as I will be visiting with friends on members day,couldn`t think of anything worse than a crowded zoo when trying to show friends round!!

I wouldn't worry about it too much, the zoo has been really quiet these last few weeks so I don't think a few members will have much impact. Plus you get the added bonus of the opportunity to heckle at some of the talks.
