I can assure you that there are far more than 110 species of birds at the Cincinnati Zoo

As Dicerorhinus said, the behind the scenes areas in the basement of Wings of the World are immense, and they hold far more species than are on display upstairs. Having seen it in person, I can say that it is avian enthusiast's paradise

Albeit it has been a few years since I've been down there, I can't imagine that things have changed much in terms of the number of species held off-exhibit. (The large "birds through time" mural downstairs is also very nice!) That's not to mention the species used in the Wings of Wonder bird show!
I counted 167 this time.
