Don't know if anyone on here has visited it but I visited once about 5 years ago, they had a decent waterfowl collection, owls, crowned cranes, 4 chilean flamingos, various small parakeets, peafowl, guinea fowl and others.Just wondered if anyone had visited recently or if it was even still open? It was a nice little place.

I enquired about it at the begining of the year(2011) and spoke to the agents twice. It has gone down to about £500K and includes only 1 acre with the buildings on one side and the remainer over the other side of the road. Total area is only 1.54 acresThe sale does NOT include the mammals and alot of the birds?Alot of them are fairly elderly .Currently the owners rent part of an adjoining field to provide extra parking. The building and museum are very old fashioned and require considerable updating.I don't think I will go up and see it until late spring. However if anybody does go up can they take pictures. It does seem too small an acreage for my wish list!

What species of mammals do they have at the moment?

They did have chipmunks, asian small clawed otters, wallabies and marmosets. They do not
have a zoo licence, but trade under a pet shop licence (!?)-selling a small amount of pet
food. I'm not sure what they still have?
