We should be able to confirm this at the end of the year when the latest studbook is sent out by Neil D.

After 15 pages and over 200 posts I think it's time we created Asiatic Lions in Europe#2 ;)
 
The new young at Magdeburg appear to be male and the names 'Bhanu' and 'Kamal' are winning the naming competition.
 
Would be wise to ask Neil Dorman from Twycross Zoo - he is EEP coord. of Panthera leo persicus. Propably knows all about it - he gathers the data for yearbook. I can check on the Lodz lions if anybody wishes.
 
In Lodz are now 2 lions.

Male Subali - born in Edinburgh 2006,
Female Tycia - born in Lodz 2005, father is Bruno(born in London), mother is Luei(born in Helsinki).

Luei died in Lodz in 2007 or 2008.

I'm not sure, but Subali is to be moved to Spain, to Jerez.
I heard also, from London to Lodz is to be obtained male, partner for our female.
