What are the planned projects for this new zoo park in Denmark for this year? Any interesting births? New animals? New exhibits?

I hardly think that we can call Ree Park a "new" zoo. It has been around for 15 years now.
The new Asian-themed complex will simply be called "Asia" and will be situated on a hillside with cliffs and waterfalls. The animal list is correct and there is a rumour going on of adding chinese leopards in the future.
In other news: Ree Park and Borås Zoo (Sweden) will be importing wild kalahari lions from Botswana to boost their numbers in European zoos. Hopefully it will be this year.

A second male black rhino has arrived, this time from Zoo Berlin, He is called Kito and is almost 4 years old.

And he arrived just in time to move into the newly built Rhino Stalls on the edge of the savannah. The stall has room for several more rhinos and Ree Park intends to get a breeding group of black rhinos over the next few years.

0.0.1 Northern Chinese Leopard has been born. A first breeding for Ebeltoft who only displayed this species for the first time in 2012

According to ZTL, ree park now holds black-footed cat. Any info on source/numbers?
If you by numbers mean number of specimens, Zootierliste lists it as 0.1. Other than that, I'm quite curious, too. I sent them a mail a few days ago, but they haven't replied. I don't know how long they usually take to reply and I imagine it will take even longer now they've closed down for the winter.
Now we're at Ree Park rarities, does anyone know if they still have Virginia opossums? My hunch is that they don't since if they had, their opossums would be at least 5 years old, but of course they could have gotten some new ones. But if they don't - yet another species gone from Europe...

I visited Ree-Park two months ago. I didn't see the black-footed cat but I confirm there is one (1.0 "Nelson" arrived from Cincinnati in july 2012 with a female, dead some months later).

So they (the cats) are not off-exhibit, then? Do you remember where they were kept? Near the sand cat exhibit?
The opossums were in a netted exhibit on the wood fort where you can look over the bear/wolf and bison/bear enclosures. It should be hard to miss, so I suppose they're gone then.
A little more as a month ago a new Alpha Polar wolf female arrived from Olomouc Zoo ( Czech Rep. ) to bring new life in the Ree-park group. She proofed to be pregnant on arrival and now has given birth to an unknown number of young in one of the old burrows in the enclosure.
