Whoops, meant South Carolina Aquarium :D Sorry about the confusion, and I didn'tknow it had it's own gallery. I got to check it out. And the others I listed are in the US, too.

I agree snowleopard, the response to the requests has not been what it should, i feel the time is for a separate moderator for the gallery alone.
Sim is a busy guy, hence more moderators, but unfortunately this has been overlooked and i cannot add galleries, i can delete pics on request and thats about as far as it goes.
The gallery is a huge resource (dare i say it more so than the threads), after the likes of flickr and others, this is the largest dedicated gallery to captive collections on the net (i think), and has to be cherished and protected.
Hopefully someone will step up to the plate, its a big responsibility, but badly needed.

Please ... zoo in La Paz (in fact near La Paz in Mallasa) ... I think official name is Vesty Pakos zoo. Visit in January 2011.
 
 
I finished scanning (i.e. those taken before 2003 when I first got a digital camera) and uploading my very last photos some months ago, but I was not able to upload from three zoos as no galleries exist for them. In the event that new galleries would ever be created again, I would appreciate if ones could be made for:

Brazil

Rio de Janero Zoo

Spain

Selwo Safari

United States

Capital of Texas Zoo
 
You know, the last "new" gallery was added in 2009. Just food for thought.
 
please add:

Ruby Ranch Center of Biological Conservation in Sahuarita, Arizona (USA)

No website, as it will be closed to the public. This is the ranch that Reid Park Zoological Society was donated to use for raising endangered desert hoofstock. I made my first visit today and will be posting photos as it develops.
 
Solomon Islands in the Oceania Gallery. I don't think there is any zoo, so just "Solomon Islands - Wildlife" and "Solomon Islands - Other" should suffice for now.

don't tell me you've just been there, or are they older photos? Either way, lucky devil!

I'd love to see the Solomon Islands frogmouth, amongst others there.
