I will be suprised if any other members on here have read or are fans of the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini - yet if you are it may interest you that after nearly 3 long years of waiting, a title, cover art and release date for the 4th and final book in the series has been announced. The book itself will be called Inheritance, and will be released on 8th November, 2011. (Eragon, Eldest and Brisingr already available)

For those interested in fantasy fiction it may be worth a read - not trying to plug the book or anything but just thought I'd post on the odd off-chance somebody may be interested :D

*On another note, I have started AGAIN to write my first novel (fantasy). I got so far into it last time but got stuck in a corner, so decided to go back through the entire thing and iron out what I can so I can get to the same point, but not get myself stuck there if that makes sense :D

oh yeah of little faith - yes I've read eragon etc (so much better than the film) - just finished the latest Wheel of time missive (book 12?) in paperback of course and eagerly awaiting book 13 in paperback (november) and the final ending to the epic Wheel of time series next year. I suspect you'll find several fantasy/sci fi fans on here JR :O)

Think Brandon whatsit has done a great job getting the series back on track. I'm eagerly awaiting the ending. I haven't read erogan, the film trailer put me off.

The film is nowhere near as good as the book. I don't mind the film if you forget the book, but it deviates and changes crucial parts of the plot. It isn't everybody's cup of tea and is essentially a star wars/lord of the rings hybrid (with dashes of other things I don't know about). However, I like it and I would say if you ever have the time then there is nothing to lose in giving it a go :D

I'm looking forward to see what they do with George RR Martins A Game of Thrones on sky Atlantic in April. I love the books so I hope they do a good job.

Interesting to see that they asked Sean Bean to take a role in it, so you think the conversation went along the lines of this.....

"right who was that guy from England - you know the one with the accent who played Boromir in the Lord of the Rings film? - maybe we should ask him as he's delt with swords and orcs before?"
"OK so Mr Bean (sic) is on board - who next - what about that guy with the funny name too Vig....Vig.... something - is he available too!?" :D

Anything with Sean bean and I'm half convinced before I've even seen it. Now where's the drooling icon? ;)
