Micheal Jackson may be forced to sell of his never land ranch and whist two tigers, An africa Bull elephant and a female eleephant and all the horses were removed from the property halfway trough last year he still has Four giraffes, two orangutans and various parrots, reptiles and deer at Neverland.
anyone have any ideas where these might end up in the long run, i doubt they will make it into any zoos and will probably stay in private hands but its still worth wishing.

Giraffe sell for a fair bit over there
From a dealers website
Female Giraffes now available: 9 day old female, on bottle $100,000.00/ 18 month old female $115,000.00

FYI Other Exotics

I suppose as zoos want to build up herds then they need lots of females but as 50% born are males, female giraffes are in short supply. Hence the high price.

Sorry for the pretty meaningless bump, but with all the recent Jackson coverage I spotted this old aerial image of an enclosure at Neverland on the internet.

Looks somewhat like Heythrop's polar bear exhibit. What was housed there?

He had alligators at some point and that is what it looks like except for the back area. It may be an enclosure for the tigers as well.

Looks like it could be a kids paddling pool... What?

Seriously though, maybe tigers, what with what look like holding cages at the back.

@loxodonta - Are you sure that's a valid link? When I clicked on it, I got a warning from my internet security saying "the security certificate does not match the website" and recommending I do not open it (which I did not).

Anyway, I know the tigers are at Shambala (California), but do you know where in Arizona the birds and giraffes went?

Sorry about that. The link worked fine on my computer. The blogger got his info from: "I found some information on the larger animals in a blog by Peter Wedderburn, a news blogger for the Daily Telegraph Web site in London." If that helps. My guess is the giraffes, birds and reptiles went to either Wildlife World zoo or another private facility.

What is going to happen to Neverland now that Michael Jackson is dead?
