Chester Zoo The dome ?

Will you please listen to what other people have said in other threads to you,Chester are not building the Heart of Africa Dome at the present time,and are not likely to be for atleast another 4 years if not alot longer,as for what is going in to the name says it all its for animals from the Heart of Africa ie Gorilla,Chimp,Bongo,Congo Buffalo,Sitatunga and Okapi,along with any Bird,Reptile,Amphibian and Insects that are from the same area as the mammal species that I listed for you.One species that WILL NOT BE GOING INTO IT IS SEALIONS.
The dome (Heart of Africa) will focus on African rainforests and is due to be built on land that is currently unoccupied. It will feature species such as Western lowland gorilla, okapi, pygmy hippopotamus, red river hog, Congo buffalo, Eastern bongo and chimpanzee amongst others.

Nobody at ALL told me about the dome actually, unless I didn't read it. I don't sit on this forum 24/7 reading everything!
And is the dome on hold because of the money?

I'm actually excited for the 'dome', and isn't there a new boat ride coming called 'Islands' or something?
The Dome is known as Heart of Africa, that's what you'll see it called on here. Note that this is Pygmy Hippopotami, Not Common Hippopotami. Islands is not just a boat ride, it is the first phase of 'Natural Vision', and will feature species such as Sumatran Tigers and Orang-utans amongst others: there is an article on it here.

No and I don't spend 24/7 on here as something called work and zoo visiting gets in the way at weekends!!If you just spent a bit of time having a quick look round on the site you would find many of your questions answered with out the need for a new thread!!Also some of us have spent alot of time developing a good relationship between Chester Zoo and this site,after a few people within the zoo got sick of people on here posting rubbish and crap about the zoo,like your post saying that sealions would be in the Heart of Africa Dome,Chester is the zoo that probably has the less rumours and un-confirmed news about it because of the hard work that myself and SMR have put in alongside the zoo in the last 12-18 months!!
